Oxana Šnajberg is the managing partner and also the managing director of the EqSA expert office. Oxana has been working in the field of expertise for almost 15 years. She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a specialization in the valuation of companies and their assets and continued with a postgraduate course in Real Estate Valuation at the Institute of the Valuation of Assets at the University of Economics. Oxana is an expert in business valuation, securities valuation and intangible asset valuation.

She works at the Department of Finance and Business Valuation of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics, where she participates in publishing activities and teaching specialized subjects focused on business and property valuation. Since September 2022, Oxana has been a member of the Turnaround Management Association of the Czech Republic, which brings together experts in the field of "turnaround management", insolvency law and corporate finance.

During her time at EqSA, Oxana has devoted herself to, for example, the valuation of Czech and foreign holding groups, the valuation of the loan portfolios of three important banking institutions in the Czech Republic at their liquidation, or the processing of assessments for the purposes of insolvency proceedings of companies such as OLEO CHEMICAL a.s., POLDI s.r.o. or ČKD Kutná Hora, a.s. or Arca Investments, a.s.

Jiří Wiesner has been working at the EqSA expert office since 2015, gradually working his way up from the position of assistant to the position of head of the business valuation department. In his practice, he mainly focuses on valuation for the purposes of conversions, insolvency proceedings or asset valuation for a number of important investment funds.

He graduated in Business and Property Valuation at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics in Prague. Furthermore, as part of his Master's degree, he studied a secondary specialization in the field of Monetary Economics and Banking, thanks to which he has a considerable overlap in the field of monetary and banking within the framework of valuation issues.

Jiří has extensive experience in managing the valuation of holding structures of Czech and international corporations, the valuation of the assets of eminent investment groups, as well as important insolvency proceedings. He participated in the assessment of a number of financial assistances and the calculation of the amount of damages.

Lenka Novák has been working in the expert office for 6 years and currently holds the position of Head of Real Estate Valuation. Lenka holds a Master's degree in the Valuation of a company and its assets from the University of Economics in Prague. During her studies, Lenka completed a semester-long stay at the University of Agder in Norway, where she focused on real estate market issues.

In 2022, she successfully completed the MBA Real Estate and its Valuation (MBARE) program at the University of Economics in Prague. This degree program holds the international RICS certification for commercial real estate and real estate valuation and is one of the most prestigious educational programs in Europe focused on real estate.

In terms of professional practice, she applies her extensive experience in valuing all types of real estate for both private clients and state institutions. Especially when valuing development projects or determining the market potential of real estate, she uses the knowledge gained from the MBARE study program, from regular participation in professional conferences and the regular monitoring of the real estate market.

Lenka participated in real estate valuations for major development companies, financial groups, Czech and foreign funds, insolvency administrators and executors. She also has experience with opinions for court proceedings, where she successfully defends the prepared opinions and their conclusions in important domestic cases.

Tomáš Dvořák works in the expert office as a Business Valuation Manager. Tomáš graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a Master's degree in the valuation of companies and their assets. As part of his expertise, he makes use of the experience gained from his previous work in the field of accounting and tax consulting.

The most interesting cases

Tomáš has extensive experience, especially in valuing large-scale holding structures. He has also participated in the processing of assessments in the sectors of energy, pharmaceuticals, IT, residential or commercial real estate, the financial sector or in the area of transfer pricing.

Tomáš is also a guarantor of the expert office for the methodology of start-ups valuation, which he regularly updates and presents to his colleagues. He deals with the valuation of start-ups mainly for the needs of funds or other deposits and transfers. Tomáš often comments on current events in the economy for the media (e.g. for the Euro.cz or Roklen24).

Miloš Kačírek works in the expert office as a Business Valuation Consultant. He holds a Master's degree with a major specialization in Business and Asset Valuation from the University of Economics in Prague. In his practice, he also makes use of the knowledge gained when studying his minor specialization in Monetary Economics and Banking.

The most interesting cases

Miloš conducts his own projects mainly in the valuation of holding structures and companies. In his practice, he also deals with the valuation of intangible assets and bonds or assessing the feasibility of financial assistance. His other specialization is the area of valuation of development projects, as well as residential and commercial real estate. Miloš also deals with determining the value of the settlement of the joint property of spouses in court proceedings. In the past, he has participated in the processing of assessments in the IT, energy, pharmaceutical, financial and agriculture sectors.

Eva is a graduate of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, where she completed engineering studies in the field of Business Economics and Management at the Faculty of Economics. She is currently expanding her knowledge in the field of business valuation within a postgraduate valuation course at the University of Economics. Eva is also a graduate of the Faculty of Law, where she supplemented her successful Master's degree with a rigorous exam. The combination of economic and legal education allows Eva to focus on valuation issues in a broader context.

In her current practice, she also has extensive experience in management positions in central government institutions. She has extensive experience in managing people, as well as long-term projects with a nationwide impact.

In her professional career, taking into account her education and experience, she mainly deals with valuation in the context of legal issues, such as the quantification of damages, determination of value for the needs of litigation or insolvency proceedings. Eva has experience with complex insolvency projects with an international element. She also specializes in the issue of interest rates, especially in the context of transfer pricing.

Kateřina Kotrčová works in the expert office as a Real Estate Valuation Analyst. Kateřina holds a Master's degree in Project Management and Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague. She has been working at the EqSA expert office since the end of 2020. As part of her practice in the office, she gradually started working on important real estate projects.

In terms of professional practice, Kateřina uses her experience from studying construction and economics. In the expert office, she deals with the valuation of important development projects and large real estate complexes, both for commercial purposes and for the needs of court proceedings. She has also participated, among other things, in real estate valuations for important insolvency proceedings or in regular revaluations for investment funds. She also has experience in the valuation of real estate abroad, as well as in the valuation of legal defects, encumbrances or other rights to real estate.

As part of her activities at EqSA, Kateřina also deals with real estate valuation in accordance with the wording of Act No. 416/2009 Coll., a line act. She has already prepared several expert opinions for the purposes specified by the law.

Within the expert office, Kateřina also regularly monitors the development on the real estate market in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Martina has been an important part of the Real Estate team for two years, where she currently works as an analyst. Martina holds a Master's degree in Project Management and Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague. She has been active in the field of real estate for a long time. Before joining the expert office, she worked in the construction industry as a general contractor. In that position, she mainly participated in the construction management of development projects.

From the viewpoint of professional practice, Martina makes use of her experience in the construction industry in cases of the valuation of development projects and other real estate units, both for commercial purposes and for the needs of court proceedings. At the same time, she participates in the valuation of real estate for insolvency proceedings. Over the past six months, she has worked on a lot of interesting projects, such as the valuation of investment funds or the valuation of land in connection with changes in the territory of the plans.

Johana Rollinger works in the expert office as a Business Valuation Consultant. Johana holds a Master's degree in the Valuation of a company and its assets from the University of Economics in Prague.

In her practice, Johana first specialized in the valuation of receivables and movable assets, and subsequently in the valuation of businesses, their parts and all matters related to the operation of a business.

Johana collaborated on important projects of the expert office. In her practice, she mainly deals with important development or investment groups or valuations for the needs of managing funds or large property structures. Johana broadened her experience when working with a large and complex property structure during the valuation of the assets of the Arca Investments group, which was one of the most extensive expert opinions in the history of insolvency proceedings in the Czech Republic. In her practice, Johana also deals with the valuation of intangible assets for the purposes of determining license fees or transfer prices. She also helps our fellow lawyers determine the value of their law practices.

Kateřina Vejmelková has been working in the expert office for 10 years and focuses on real estate valuation. She currently holds the position of External Real Estate Valuation Consultant. Kateřina is a graduate of the University of Business in Prague. Thanks to her extensive practical and theoretical experience, she has gained extensive experience in the valuation of all categories of real estate. She has experience not only with the valuation of residential and commercial real estate, but also with large development projects, determining the value of real estate with legal defects and expert opinions for the purposes of litigation or for the needs of financial and banking institutions. She specializes in real estate valuation, especially for execution and insolvency proceedings.

Radim has been working in the expert office for two years and gradually worked his way up to the position of Business Valuation Analyst. Radim is finishing his Master's degree in Finance and Business Valuation. In the expert's office, he now combines the knowledge gained from his studies with practice while, at the same time, he makes use of his previous work experience in the field of accounting. He participates in the processing of sub-parts of larger assessments as part of the company valuation team or processes some projects independently under the guidance of a professional team.

Radim participated in the processing of assessments in the fields of energy, IT, and start-ups, and also gained experience in the valuation of large holding company structures. As part of his work at the expert office, he also participated in the project of the valuation of the property value of the Slovak-Czech investment group Arca Investments.

Michal works in the expert office as a Business Valuation Assistant. At the same time, he is a student of Finance at the University of Economics in Prague. He has been working in the expert office since the spring of 2022. Jan Attl has been working in the field of valuation for more than 20 years, he is a founding partner and managing director of the EqSA expert office. In the past, he was a long-standing director of the valuation department at the Czech Consolidation Agency and then became a co-owner of and expert at the AppraisingAlpha expert institute. He has extensive experience in asset valuation (business plants, equity participations, receivables, real estate and securities), as well as financial analyses, analysis of banking products and investment instruments.

Jan Attl graduated from the Mechanization Faculty of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, the University of Economics in Prague and the A&W Business School. He also completed his studies at the Institute of Property Valuation at the University of Economics in Prague (business valuation) and the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (monetary economics and banking). Jan Attl was appointed by the Regional Court in Prague as an expert in the fields of economics, prices and estimates, specializing in business valuation and the monetary and insurance industry, with a specialization in banking. Jan Attl holds a Property Appraiser Certificate for real estate valuation. He is the co-author of the publication entitled "Posudek znalce a podnik" (Expert opinion and business) published by C. H. Beck publishing house.

Jan Attl led the most important commissions of the expert office concerning the valuation of large Czech and foreign holding groups, the valuation of the portfolio of banking institutions in accordance with the dispositions of the Czech National Bank, the valuation of development projects, determining the amount of costs for providing guarantees, the calculation of damages and financial losses, the assessment of reorganization plans and analyses of banking products and investment instruments.

Alena has been working in the expert office for over four years and currently holds the position of External Business Valuation Consultant. During her studies at the University of Economics, Alena dealt with the valuation of a company and its assets, business economics and turnaround management. From her previous experience, Alena has experience in the corporate environment of a leading Czech law firm. In terms of her professional practice, she specializes, among other things, in valuations for court or insolvency proceedings.

Alena participated, for example, in important projects for the purposes of insolvency proceedings (VÍTKOVICE MECHANIKA a.s., ČKD Kutná Hora, a.s., OLEO CHEMICAL, a.s., KULINA s.r.o., etc.) and also in administrative and criminal proceedings (cooperation with the Department of Serious Economic Crime of the Police of the Czech Republic, etc.). Among other things, Alena has experience in the valuation of large Czech and foreign holding groups, and she has also dealt with, for example, the influence of subsidies in the concept of Czech accounting regulations on the valuation of a company. In addition, she has experience in processing appraisals in residential and commercial real estate, in the financial sector, in the area of transfer pricing, IT, and in the area of start-ups.

She is in charge of administrative management and the preparation of documents for the activities of the expert office, where she also uses the knowledge gained from her previous experience at a law office. Among other things, Petra is in charge of the smooth running of the office and part of the HR agenda.
